Well I am in AZ right now for a few days and ate at a wonderful Greek Restaurant called My Big Fat Greek Restaurant. It was a very friendly atmosphere. My husband Dan and I went with my grandparents and Sophia. There seemed to be no problems with kids and they even had a kids menu with crayons and highchairs.
Between the 4 of us we ordered, fried calamari appetizer, Dolmades (stuffed grape leaves), Mousak, Lamb Souvlaki, and Garlic Shrimp. All dishes were very good. Mine was the Mousak, it was like an eggplant lasagna with mash potatoes on top. A Greek Shepherds pie really. I thought it was very tasty. It was served with a side of steamed veggies and potatoes that had lemon juice on them which I loved! It was a very yummy meal, the waitress was wonderful as well and very friendly. Being from Montana we just are hard pressed for good ethnic restaurants and this was a treat!
It was probably the next best Greek restaurant experience that we've had since eating in London.
Granted we don't have much to compare it to, and there is one other yummy Greek place in the Lethbridge Mall in Canada. But for now it's high on my list for Greek, so give it a try you may love it too.
